Roy couldn't remember why he'd come to the mansion; couldn't shake the mist from his mind. He hadn't stayed there long but he left his provided room in the middle of the night because something was keeping him up. Not because he couldn't remember anything, but something else: a noise. A dripping noise, sounded like a faucet tap someone forgot to turn off, and it's coming from this room. So loud, too..
Too tired, too restless to realize what room he was entering, Roy stumbles in looking around for the source, hoping it won't take long to deal with and get back to sleep.

There was a faint glow coming from the back of the room. It was obscured by a surprising amount of large potted plants. Walking between a few the dripping noise got a little louder. As he continued on he steped ontowhat seemed like a grassy carpet.

Roy rubbed his bleary, sleep deprived eyes and without caution pushed at all the leaves and pots to make a path for himself, trying not to take large steps around the actual pots unless it was necessary. "Who the hell designs these things..." he mutters aloud to the empty room and keeps progressing.

As he continued on some of the potted plants became more exotic. The faint sound of running water could be heard as he got closer to the glow and the dripping. As he looked between two plants he saw what looked like a stone bath built into the floor. An overhang for possibly a waterfall was over it, but the only water coming down was a drop at a time into the pool of water in the bath.

Roy blinks and walks around the bath's circle, doggedly trying to figure out where the running water is coming from now, but with the real problem in front of him, he investigates closer. one foot on the actual tub, he reaches up and tries to press his hand against the overhand and stop the dripping.

As he ran his hand along the overhang his fingers brushed against a loose rock. Reaching a bit further back he found a pile of rocks, the water steadily moving from the bottom in a trickle.

With a huff, Roy tries to push the rocks around, now standing on the rim of the pool. At first he tries to plug up the trickle further but all it may do is make the stream actually come forth...

A few rocksmoved away as his hand hit them, causing water to come out like a faucet. As he went to try and fix it he bumped another rock, causing the rest to give way as a large rush of water rushed out. As it rushed over his head he lost his footing, causing him to fall into the pool.

Roy yelps and smacks face first into the water, thrashing about and trying to grab the rim again. Sputtering, he realizes he's drank some of the water and emerges spitting vigorously with a hand on the rim, trying to pull himself out. How deep is this pool supposed to be, he wonders during the debacle...

His thrashing feet found a foot hold, but it seemed to move just as he got his foot on it. His clothes felt a bit heavy from the water as he tried to pull himself out, but also a little loose. Shaking some water from his head he noticed the large plants around the bath seemed a bit bigger.

Roy hauls himself up out of the bath and stays on the rim as a ton of water sloshes out of the pool and slashes about him before soaking into the carpet. Well it's not on his dime if they have to pull it up. With effort he stands and tries to wring even more water from his clothes, not noticing, really, the trees until he tries to head the way he came...

His clthes, while no longer soaked, still hung on him damply as he made his way back through the plants. "Huh? Who released the waterfall?" He heard a young woman say from somewhere to his left.

Roy blinks and wondering why his boots are so loose, waddles slightly as he cinches his belt. "Who said that?" he demands, heading towards the voice. He's starting to get irritable.

As he pushed a large leaf out of his way he was blinded by a flashlight. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" The feminine voice asked from behind the light.

Roy flinches and hols up his arm, laden with a very loose workshirt sleeve to ward the light off. "Hey put that down. I was just trying to find out where the dripping noise was coming from in the mansion... jeez... Who are you?"
