Hey everybody!
I'm extremely new here and have only spoken to a few people thus far, so I only have so much of an idea of what people really enjoy reading here. Honestly, thus far (meaning a bit over twenty posts), I've been trying to let a character develop on their own, writing what seems to be right for the situation. This has been an interesting experiment and I am thinking about keeping a log of her thoughts on things, including other characters, transformations, rooms and just her story in general.
If other people end up being interested in such a thing, I would totally be willing to share it, and I would love reading what is going through other character's thoughts as well if you write similar things. This would be a long-winded 'big picture' thing whereas my roleplaying will probably end up being very in the moment...once I completely let loose and just RP.
I do have a question concerning this though:
Where would someone post such a thing? Is there a place that would be appropriate in the mansion (once again, if people would even be interested)? If not, or even if so I suppose, is there a place you would recommend outside of the mansion?

I'll give the character diary a shot because I love the idea of minor things coming together in the end; Like a story arc.
In response to your second Question this would probably go into even more rooms.

I think I would agree with even more rooms, but I definitely thought, being ridiculously new, that asking the opinions of others wouldn't hurt.

Might as well take a crack it.

I can't believe I'm doing this. I've bored with the mansion lately, and I decided to record my events to kill some time. Today was...... uneventful. Very few people came to my rooms, and as usual a crapton of people headed to the gender room or the weight room. I never did understand why those people went to those rooms.
I talked to a couple of the residents and started to write in this thing. Here's to hoping that something interesting happens soon.

Interesting idea. Remember seeing these on deviantart, but never really had time to read them. Probably wouldn't be able to do one myself given how busy things are this upcoming week. As for where to put such a thing besides even more rooms I can think of two possible places. One would be the foyer, and the other would be here in the garden.

Keep it in the garden? Sounds like a plan.

Today was a pretty slow day, just like a few days of my stay for the summer. Spent my time wandering around the mansion before having to help Jonathan with some new invention. Ended up with an elephants nose for a couple hours while Jonathan 'tweeked' the invention to fix me...I still don't think he fully fixed me. My nose may be back to normal, but I've had these strange cravings for dry grass and peanuts.
On my way back to Bob's room I happen to over hear some maids talking. They mentioned something about some strange and colorful inkwell showing up in the mansion. From what I heard one say it was taken to one of the rooms in an unused part of the mansion. May have to look into it...when I'm not helping Jonathan or babysitting Cindy, although babysitting her has been fun.
Haven't really seen Bob or Minda since I got here, but hopefully that will change in a couple days. Bob did say he'd try to throw me a great birthday party, but knowing him he will have something come up at the last minute. Maybe the Prosperios will throw me a small party instead.
Better get to bed. Was hoping to find Noemi before helping Jonathan with something else in his lab. She seems to have dissappeared since showing me to Bob's room. Hope she's okay...How does a maid with purple dyed hair and glasses disappear anyway?

Well I got my wish.
I decided to visit the size room for inventory, and surprisingly someone actually visited the size room! Since she looked like she was unfamiliar with the mansion I decided to have fun with her. After messing with her I decided to introduce myself.
Now here is were It gets odd.
I told her my name, but I said my real name was, John. I found this to be odd because my real name is, Tsugaru..... Is it? After messing having a mishap with the potion the girl left. Normally I would just leave and head to other rooms, but since the odd ''name change'' I decided to follow her. Who knows? Maybe I might find out other things about myself.

Business as Usual at the Mansion. I spent most of the day wandering around, helping guests as I could or making sure the staff was happy. I had lunch with Bob, but he disappeared quickly after I mentioned a new room appearing. He had to investigate, I assume. Can't stop him from doing that.
Ran into a guest who had turned themselves into a balloon animal with something from the Clown Room. I assume that despite the recent intervention, some clowns still poke out to the hallways. I shall have to keep an eye on that.
Otherwise, business as usual, like I said.

Today was one of the best birthdays in a long time. Woke up to find a gift from some 'secret admirer'. I was happy to see the plate of cupcakes, filling my big soft belly with them for breakfast. A maid was kind enough to take a picture before heading off.
I heard Bob had stopped by for lunch when I went to babysit Cindy, but he apparently had to run off again. When I got to Cindy's room I was surprised to see Molli and her mother, I think she said her name was Martha, with Cindy and a wonderful looking birthday cake. They had a strange look on their face when they saw me, but quickly waved it off when I asked them what was wrong. I ate alot more than the Prosperio girls, but that's probably because of how much bigger my stomach is.
After we finished eating Molli presented me with a gift from Bob. It was one of his and his friends special cell phones. Not only will I finally get great service at the mansion, but I won't have to worry about mom & dad getting on my case should I go over our minute limit.
I found a few more presents in my room, but I'm too sleepy to open them tonight.

Had a nice big breakfast brought to my room this morning, but it wasn't as delicious as those cupcakes yesterday. After filling my big belly I decided to open the presents I'd found in the room last night. The first was from Molli & Cindy. It was a nice necklace with a tear drop ruby hanging from it. It was nice of them to get me the necklace, but also to have my birthstone on it.
The next gift was from Martha, a surprisingly empty book. The note that came with it said to leave it under my pillow when I went to bed and not to write in it. I don't know why she gave me an empty book, or why she wanted me to put it under my pillow. Jonathan's gift was a digital camera. Not sure if it's a normal camera or one of his own creations but I'm sure time will tell. I think Hugo decided to mess with me, his small gift just a bunch of powder that was blown into my face.
Spent most of the day babysitting Cindy. Her tea party was actually kinda fun, especially since she shrunk us down and brought her dolls to life. Her doll house was even more amazing looking at Doll size, but the doorways weren't really made for some one with my plump figure. I was startled when a mouse entered the doll house, but it quickly explained it was a friend of Cindy's. Never thought I'd meet a talking mouse, but given where I'm at it shouldn't be a surprise.
Have the day off tomorrow. Jonathan is going to be gone to get some new tech, and Martha is going to see an old friend with her granddaughter. Word is Bob went looking for that inkwell I'd heard about a couple days ago, and tomorrow I'll be going to look for it. I want to know what so special about it.

Short blurby thing, a doodle, and a journal! (My I'm productive today....) Elena (Ellie) Merlot Age: 21 Occupation: Student and Artist Goals: Discover new types of art, create unique art that impacts the world and changes people's point of view. Personality: Thus far Ellie has proven herself to be paranoid (occaisionally with good reason), easily annoyed, and hesitant. She seems to be curious about experimenting in the mansion, though she is afraid of the consequences. Likes: Books, sketching, animated series, art, privacy. Dislikes: Her own paranoia, conflict, decisions, idiots, unexpected results Day 1: This is my first day here, in 'the mansion' as they call it. It seems to be like most people wouldn't care if there was another place to be, or other people to meet. They are content here and I'm curious as to why. I don't desire to speak to many people yet though, as I'm trying to figure out why I'm here myself. I came here looking for art, but I've found something far more bizarre. While trying to avoid others I frightened myself into entering a foreign room. I know now that it is nicknamed the 'size' room, and for good reason. Though I felt like I was being watched, I still allowed myself to partake of the mysterious liquid I found. The world spun and I found myself a bit shorter and in the company of a man. He called himself something, but said his true name was John. John introduced me to the idea that magic could be real. I wanted to cry, to scream, to exclaim that it just couldn't be so, but now as I look back...it's the only explanaton. I ended up as a thirty foot giant shortly after, attempting to correct my mistake. This horrified me at the time. I was angry and upset at the warping of my body...and my mind. I felt the urge to take my emotions out on anything and everything avaliable...including the person I had just met. It would have been simple enough to reach out and crush him. He was so small...he would have fit nicely in my palm...but I knew it was wrong. So we fiddled about more, and here I am...still a few inches shorter than I was. I have to admit that I'm not entirely upset...it is actually quite the novel experience. I feel lighter, faster...more inquisitive as time goes on. Perhaps eventually I will return to the size room for more experimentation, but for now I think I am done. There is so much more to learn about in this mansion...including the idea of magic. Perhaps I'll just find a room to relax in for a bit.

Woke up a little while ago to find my underwear I fell asleep in was larger. Would have thought some sicko had stripped me in my sleep before putting the bigger underwear on me, but I was able to find the little mark I'd put on my clothes before coming to the mansion for the summer. After changing into another bra and pair of panties, as well as a simple top and some sweats, I remembered the book from Marth under my pillow. I was surprised to find images of me, Bob, & Minda; all in various adventures in the mansion. One of the last pages with pictures showed me fat and eating the cupcakes I'd recieved for my birthday.
Most likely it's Bob who sent me those fattenning cupcakes...The jerk. After I have a quick shower I plan on finding him and getting him back for making me fat...Again. Thankfully I know just where to look...
