Mike walked up to the maze gates, it had been over a year since his last adventure. He noted the entrance looked different, but he figured that was expected. Excitedly he entered, feeling an odd chill as he crossed the threshold.

For him this time he found himself walking pass the Halloween Maze path, with the Jack-O-Lanterns as his only source of guiding him.

Mike felt a sense of unease walking through the dimly lit path, the flickering of the jack o lanterns his only source of light. He brushed off the feeling, chalking it up to the excitement of Halloween. Strangely enough, although he ventured the maze alone before, he felt more alone than ever in its high walls and twists and turns.
He maneuvered the long path, searching for what was sure to be the first of his many stops in the maze.

Then came a fork in the road. The path on the left was a gate that appeared to be of the old renaissance era style of door (to maybe a mansion..In a mansions maze?), as well with a bat statue right above it. On its right was a gate in old gold and a scarab with wings above its entrance.
Then Marian's voice was herd. "Both in different time era's both had its power of loyalty...And maybe beauty as well..For famous horror movie monster icons." Then silence returned.

"Horror icons?" Mike shrugged. "Well that's definitely new this year."
He gazed down either path, pondering his choices. He walked up to both of them, touching them, attempting to get a sense of what was beyond each threshold.
He knew that once he made a choice, that was it, and there was no turning back. he had to choose wisely, or he could end up in some serious trouble.
"Well, in for a penny, in for a pound..." He says as he opened the renaissance-style door.

The doors creaked slowly as they opened up, revealing the inside. The windows covered in dust, the room lit in candles, and the ceiling covered with small cob webs.

"H--Hello?" Mike called out into the dimly lit room.
His steps echoed in the vast open space as he wandered in. While the mansion and maze were excellent on theming, even this creeped him out a bit. This place looked truly forgotten in time, almost other worldly.
He continued on in the room, seeking something-- anything-- to help him advance in his adventure.

Once he stepped in, the doors behind him slowly closed.

The creak of the doors made him jump a bit, as he scolded himself for letting the maze get to him. It's just like any other time he's been in the maze... just some fun and transformation.
He advanced in the corridor, scanning the room as his eyes adjusted.

There were no signs of life anywhere so far here. It was like this Mansion was just abandoned.

He advanced through, accepting the empty room was just that-- empty.
"Guess it's just a hallway... next stop then."
He went deeper and deeper into the room, looking for an exit to move on in the maze.

There was a single red wood door in the end of the room.

Mike advanced toward the door, slowly pushing it open.
"Hello? A-- anyone here?"

Inside what appeared to be sort of a bed room. With the drapes covering the outside world, and a coffin in the middle of the room laid there.

"Very cool..." Mike whispered in awe at the sight before him.
The curtains rustled in the breeze as he approached the coffin. He didn't even take in to account the fact a room with no air circulation can't rustle curtains.
The coffin itself was very imposing, but he felt drawn to it, the way it caught what little light there was twinkled in his eye.
