Hello all, Hugo here.
I see you are enjoying the stories of my friend Chuckles and his world of wonders, so I thought you might enjoy this. A short encylopedia on all things Clowntopian that was recently discovered in an empty apartment building. Enjoy
The Clowntopia Compendium
by Frank Jerod Hemmington
I have been researching this world for sometime, and I wanted to share some of my initial findings. Please forgive my ramblings sometimes.
On Clowntopia
Clowntopia is a strange world that lies in an alternate reality to ours. It is unknown when it was discovered, but it is believed that most clowns in our world stem from the influence of this strange world.
The world itself, in more current times, resembles a large metropolis, but instead of normal buildings, these are all curved and full of odd shapes and angles. The world is also full of bright colors and appears to be a live action cartoon
There are a few portals between our world and the world of the Clowns. Usually the inhabitants of Clowntopia do not venture through the portal to our world. The exceptions are those who guard the portals.
On Clowns
Clowns in Clowntopia are different from the clowns most humans are familiar with. They are not wearing makeup, padding or anything to enhance their appearance. They truly do look as they appear. This means that most have exaggerated figures, large feet, and colorful skin pigmentations. As with the clowns they inspired in our reality, there are three main types of clowns
Whiteface – The most common clown is a whiteface clown. Their skin is completely white and they usually have extravagant designs of various colors on their face. In the hierarchy of clowns, they are the top dogs.
Auguste – These clowns have skin of a different color, usually pink, but sometimes peachy, almost an exaggeration of the actual skin tone of a human. They are sometimes shy, but always in a great mood. They are very obedient to whiteface clowns
Hobos/Tramps – These clowns are the riff-raff of the realm. Their skin is usually a skin town or a ruddy brown, with a painted on stubbly beard and white around their eyes and mouths. Usually basic colors apply to them, Red, White and Black. Most Hobos must do whatever is asked of them by a Whtieface, and they will usually obey an Auguste.
Transformations
Clowntopia is a realm of magic, and as such, most clowns there have some sort of access to this magic. Humans who find their way into the realm via portals are usually transformed by one means or another into a clown. Sometimes their memories are modified completely, other times, just tweaked. There are some humans who are immune to clown transformations. The reasons behind this are unknown, but they are able to be mentally tweaked. One club in Clowntopia takes visitors who can't be transformed and turns them into slaves, mentally. This is frowned upon by most clowns outside the club who feel if a person is immune they aren't meant to be in Clowntopia and should be returned home. Unfortunately the owner of that club as a habit of keeping the right palms greased.
Methods of Transformation vary from clown to clown. Most get their supplies for such activities from Chuckle's Clown Emporium, the Clowntopia branch of his "Joke Store" in the real world, which acts as a cover for the portal. The Clowntopia Mall also sells transformative items, and many normal clown things that aren't magic to clowns are very magic to humans (such as clothing)
In the human realm when someone is transformed into a clown, a magical energy burst erases them from human existence, although in rare cases the last person in contact with the new clown might retain some or all memories of them.
Notable Clowns
Chuckles – Owner of the Clown Emporium and guardian of the main portal to Clowntopia. Was once human, and lured to Clowntopia as a child by what he thought was his imaginary friend, but rather was a clown ringmaster from the earliest days of Clowntopia. His friend vanished shortly after his arrival and transformation, but he was adopted by a clown family and grew up to inherit the portal from his adoptive clown father, Chackles. He is a kind clown, but a bit mischievous. He remembers little about his Human life, and as such has no remorse for transforming humans into clowns. He is currently dating and living with a creation of his called Jen-Jen
Jezzy Belle – Owner of one of the most popular clubs in Clowntopia. She opened a Human Realm branch to lure more humans into being clowns and servants for her club. The Club has serious S&M vibes, and Jezzy Belle rules it with an iron fist. She has three children, two clown daughters, and one human son, whom she adores. She frequently has issues with Chuckles, but in recent times they have put their differences aside them.
Jen-Jen – A former human who came into Chuckles shop, she became the Clowntopian equivalent to a super-model. She is now very famous in the land, and is now dating Chuckles. They live together in her ritzy apartment. She has helped him out on several occasions, most famously when she transformed an entire school prom into clowns after a human requested it.
Bubbles – a former human transformed into a clown by two of Chuckle's employees while she was looking for some drugs. She now works for Chuckles as well, but usually ends up getting sent home because she is too high to work. She helped a pimp who passed between the worlds transform a female police officer who had been giving him trouble.
Hooters – a big chested clown who came from the infamous Prom Night event. She now works for Chuckles in his store, and has lured many a human into the Clown world with her ample chest as a distraction. She helped transform a girl named Molly into a fat dumb clown named Molly who was looking for weed.
Booty – a clown with a huge ass who came from the Prom Night incident. Works for Chuckles and lives with Hooters. Helped transform Molly into Bubbles.
Notable Locations
Chuckles Joke Shop/Clown Emporium – A store filled with joke gifts and gags, as well as clown supplies, it appears out of nowhere for humans, as the portal moves around form town to town without warning. Once inside Humans are usually brought through the portal and into Clowntopia. The store in Clowntopia specializes in special clown supplies as well as magic items to use for transforming humans.
Jezzy Bell's Club – A club that has two areas, one in the Human world, one in Clowntopia. The human area seems like a normal nightclub, where as the Clowntopia thread is more of an S&M club. The owner, Jezzy, prefers to transform humans into clowns for her staff/dancers/slaves, and thanks to her open wallet approach, doesn't garner much attention for it, except on the rare occasion when Chuckles the Clown gets involved.
The Big Top Club – A more normal nightclub with erotic dancing, run by a man named Punch. He frequently transforms humans into dancers for his club, but he is a well mannered man, who dresses as a ringmaster. He is good friends with Chuckles, but has on occasion crossed him and regretted it.
Big Bertha's – a restaurant with enchanted food. Most clowns who eat here end up gaining lots of weight, and humans turn into fat clowns in mere moments. Despite this, it remains one of the most popular eateries.
Tiny Town – an area of Clowntopia's main city that is set aside for clowns who are small in height. Sometimes, it's a human transformee who wound up tiny, or a clown who got into a bad batch of Short Stuff Wacky Weed, but it is home for permanently small clowns. Humans who enter this area will more than likely find themselves smaller and sillier in no time flat.
Slob Alley – a side street that grew into a region, Slob Alley is for clowns who have chosen to (or have been magically made to) disregard hygiene. Most clowns here are lazy slobs, who have no reason to even leave home. Caution to all who enter, Slobs love company, and will not hesitate to convince whomever enters to join them, clown or human.
The Clown Arms – a Major apartment complex where most well off clowns live. Home to Chuckles, Jen-Jen, and several other clowns.
Clowntopia Mall – A mall filled with shops for any clown's needs. Most clown items here are magical and will transform a human who comes into contact with them. The food court is a popular place for pie fights.
This is all I have for now on my research from the world of clowns. I have to go now as my nose is feeling a bit stuffed up and my feet are just killing me. I'll update more when I have a chance.
