As his pants begin to crumple and his arms disappear into sleeves, Roy does an excellent job of stumbling around like a clod. "..Am I becoming a midget? What the hell was in that stuff??"

"The Fountain of Youth." Hugo mused. "The maze is quite fond of throwing it out there."

Pimples erupt suddenly as Roy loses more mass and bulk, just as suddenly the acne disappears and Roy keeps dwindling into an 11 year old's body, missing a tooth or two and gangly as you could imagine. He hastily tries to waddle in adult clothes away from the offered drink, hoping that his changes are over... "Why was it called Hiedthorn then??" his voice cracks unseemly.

"There are many fountains of youth. The most famous was discovered by Ponce De Leon. The water you drank was found by Herbert P. Heidthorn." Hugo said. "A foolish man who drank too much of his own discovery."

"Great.. How small am I gonna get?" Roy asks, wondering if his clothes are any looser. He has to abandon wearing his shoes and is dragging himself along the maze while holding them and his clothes up.

"How much did you drink?" Hugo asked.

"A really big gulp?" Roy asks, continuing the plod, perhaps more slowly, down the corridor.

"Oh, Well, then I'd say childhood is on your horizion. Funny how that works, isn't it." Hugo chuckled as he watched Roy sink into his clothes even more.

Roy doesn't respond. He's too busy shrinking into a tiny six-year old's body, his pants covering all of his legs even though they've crumpled to the floor. With a grim determination, even with his tent like shirt dragging, Roy drags the pants behind him with one hand as he trudges onward.

"Who knows, the Maze, in it's infinte wisdom, never informs me of the challenges it will bestow. Keeping a surprise as it were." Hugo said, patting the now child on the head.

Roy grimaces at the pat and in urgency drops the shoes and pants he was dragging along and scampers away, hooking towards the first left turn that comes his way.

Roy doesn't particularly care, being youthful (unwillingly) and desperate to find something that can change him for the better. Rounding a corner, he looks between whatever new choices await him.

A table stood before him, and he was surprised when it lowered down to his height to show him what it offered. On it was a small plastic ring. "Wear me to move onwards." said a note in front of it.
