The archer nods. "Condor territory very dangerous. Will need my help." She said, leading the way across the barren desert before them.

I lift the girl up again, and start walking. Wondering what makes it dangerous, but glad I have someone to help. I look at how far it seems to stretch out. This place seems bigger then the mansion it self. The sand seems far, as we head for the trees.

As the two of you crossed the sand you found yourself getting tired and hot. It was no surprise you were tired given how harder it was to carry the girl, but with the sun high and no wind or shade the elements seemed to be taking a toll on you as well. They didn't seem to bother the archer, but that may have been due to the cloth she had on over her head.

I readject my bra again, and wipe my head. Not noticing my sweat was dripping a little on the statue girl's face as I carry her. I keep eying around, as it seem safe, but the way she talked, this place supposed to be bad, and that worry me the most.

As you took a labored step you suddenly heard a rattling sound coming from the ground. Stopping in your tracks you look down to see a partly buried rattlesnake coiled a foot away from you.

I try not to panic, but one thing I always been afraid of were snakes. I gulp, trying not to panic or move. I try to ease my weight to my back foot, to move out of the way. when an Arrow strike the snake dead, and I let out my breath, I was pushing the girl tightly to my chest at that that, and I back her away a bit. "than...thanks"

"Welcome." The archer said, pulling something out of her pack. "Here, drink." She said, holding out a canteen.

I look over the water, and I took a little swig of it. I look down at the statue girl, and wonder if she was ok, like this. As I watch her remove the arrow from the ground, and cleaning the snake blood on a cloth, placed her arrow back into the holder. "I hope your still ok, should not be much longer I hope" I say to her, a bit lightly.

As you two started walking again the archer pulled out a spare cloth and tosses it to you. "Best keep sun off head unless you want burn." She said as the two of you started walking again.

"Thanks" As I wrapped it around my head, and I look down at the girl, hopping the statue part protecting her somewhat.

Looking down you see her eyes look strained. It slowly dawns on you that being a statue she can't blink or close her eyes and the sun isn't helping with that.

Oh man, I think. I asked for the cateen again, and she handed it to me. Instead of drinking it, I lightly pour a bit of water in her eyes. "Please...sorry" I turn the girl around to look down towards the ground. "Oh man", I tell the archer "I hope she will be ok.

"Not sure til you fix her." The archer said as you tossed the canteen back to her. "Hopefully blindness only temporary."

"It hard to tell, since all she can do is move her eyes. Must be pretty sick to let her see, and not move, not even blink" We hurry along, as sounds sounds, bother the archer a little.

The two of you reach the tree to see some people dressed like the archer hiding in a nearby cave. You're surprised to see birds the size of a small air craft trying to get at them, snapping their beaks near the cave in an attempt to grab one of the people from the cave.
