The Gila dragon cried out in pain, hissing as it shook its head. It quickly turned to you, looking very upset at you through its injured eye. It let out a loud roar before heading your way rather quickly.

I gulp, realizing just how dumb it was, as I stared at it like a deer in the headlights. As it rushed at me, it teeth showing, I gulp as just before it bite me, i dive out of the way, slightly scrapping my exposed arm, as I slides out of the way.

The Gila dragon crashed into the door, slamming it shut and cracking it a bit. It shook its head, a bit dazed from colliding with part of the canyon wall. The archer grabbed at her chest as she got up, feeling a couple of her ribs were possibly broken. She fought through the pain though, heading for her bow as the creature turned toward you again.

I back track on my feet, as it keep trying to bite me, as I move backwards on my hands and feet, till it missed and bite into a boulder, breaking it but one of it teeth staying in the rock also.

The archer held up her bow, readying an arrow as she let out a labored breath. "Not that way!" She yelled, noticing you were backing up toward a wall.

As She said it, I hit the rock wall with my shoulder, as I stared at fright at the dragon. This was it, I was going to be killed, and I was to scared to move, as it lowered it large mouth to me, it damage eye staring at me with blood lust. I did the only thing I could do, scream and cry.

As it prepared to eat you it suddenly let out a loud cry. It looked back at the archer, readying another arrow for where her previous arrow scratched its soft underbelly.

As it scream, it sorta Shocked me, as I focus on it again, i saw it was distracted, as I slowly, but then quickly slide to the left and start to run, it turned it head back to where I was, ready to strike, when it noticed I was gone, as it turn to look at me running away, an arrow hit it in it good eye.

It cried out in rage, its sight completely useless now. The archer signaled for you to run toward her, worried the Gila dragon's tail would hit you as it thrashed about.

I panick a bit, but I do run to you, and stand behind you, as her arrow watches for the right moment, it tail hitting the wall around where I was, when she releases the arrow.

The arrow hit where her previous arrow had scratched the Gila dragons belly open, disappearing into it. The creature let out a large cry of pain before limply falling to the ground.

I could not believe how scared I felt this time. Unlike my last brave time, this time I embarrassed my self. The archer went to move to check the creature but felt a tug. She looked down, I was holding her leg, slightly crying still from fear.

I felt an instant calm fall over me from that. Almost like a mood swap, as she walked over to the creature, noting that is does indeed seem dead.

She held her ribs as she reached down to her boot, pulling out a small dagger. With one semi quick motion she drove the dagger into the creatures belly, right where she knew its heart to be.
