"H-how can you be sure he didn't just see a normal person?" She asked as Richard carefully pulled the pendant from her back pocket. The thing hanging from the chain was a pentagram.

"She had just come off of converting one of his friends into a werepunk...." Richard said, re-framing from giggling again "He was on a camping trip, he had come back to the camp to see the massive mohawked werepunk sitting on his friends face. My grandfather said he had to watch as his friend slowly grew larger, female and pale as he just stood by, powerless to intervene" He said, while looking over the pentagram amulet.

"Well even if such a thing existed, I was scratched up by some wolves, not some fat chick." She said, rubbing her sore arm. The pentagram seemed to have a few words etched into it, but they were in Latin.

"Well aren't you lucky..." Richard said, as they both continued walking towards the smoke. "Say, You dropped this earlier..." Richard said, tapping the woman on the soldier. "He didn't know Latin, so why not ask her what the amulet was? "Care to tell me what it is?".

"Hmm...Oh. Thanks." She smiled, taking the pendant and its chain back. "It belonged to my grandmother. Before she passed away she told me to keep it with me, but never explained why or what these were." She said before stopping, wincing a bit in pain.

"The way it looks is why I've never worn it." She said, stuffing it back into her pocket. "And no, I don't know how to read Latin...But if you know anyone who can I'll be impressed." She smiled, glancing back at you as the image of a building could be seen through the woods.

"It's Anna." She said, limping up the steps and knocking on the door. "Think they have a phone?" She asked, looking at the peeling paint on the outside of the house.

"This place looks like it was built before the invention of one" Richard promptly followed up, as he waited patiently next to Anna. The door slowly creaked open.

"Hi, his car broke..." Anna said before noticing there was no one on the other side of the door. "Hello?" She called out, taking a step into the house. "Someone's got to be home, that fire didn't start itself right?" She asked Richard.

"I have no idea..." Richard said, confusingly as he peered into the decrepit house. "This place looks pretty damn weird though, should we leave?"

"Depends...How well are you at making a fire out of sticks and rocks?" Anna asked, gesturing to the fading day light.

"Good point" Richard added, "Guess this is our only location". Richard and Anna then proceeded to search around the house. It looked to be in an appropriate condition for an abandoned house, and nothing out of the ordinary. When looking at the house from the outside, smoke was no longer emitting from the house. After doing this, the pair sit down in the living room. By this time, the sky was pitch black and a full moon was showing outside.

"Think you can get a fire going in the fire place?" Anna asked, shivering even more as she sat in a dusty arm chair. Slowly she stood up, not noticing her pendant getting caught on the chair and pulled from her pocket. "I think I saw some blankets in one of the other rooms." She said, heading off to find the blankets.
