The store seemed strange, as if it had wedged itself between the two buildings over night. Alan had never seen it before, but it's odd candy striped awning and colorful paint job called out, saying "Come on in."
Which he did.

Inside the store were overflowing shelves - filled with all sorts of strange merchandise. In the back, I could just barely make out a costume rack, and a fitting room. The shelves in the front of the store had everything from clown noses to jellybeans.
"Well, hello there!" says a voice from behind the counter. Alan turned and saw a clown girl with a twin bright blue ponytails standing behind the counter. As he looked closer, he saw she was wearing a purple jumpsuit with light blue and pink polka dots. Around her neck, she had a cowl-much like Harley Quinn, Alan's favorite villainess from Batman. Surprisingly enough, the girl had ruffles at her wrists and just above her feet as well. The girl was wearing a small pink apron around her waist.

"I was just making cupcakes!" the clown said with a sweet lilt in her voice. "What brings you by our loverly store?" she asked.
She took off the apron, showing off how skin tight her jump suit was. It was almost painted on.

"Well, it just looked... interesting from the outside," I say, secretly glad I had come in. It wasn't every day you saw such a stunning woman-especially one who was a clown at that. "I'm Alan," I say, extending my hand.

She shakes your hand, and you feel an odd shock and tingle hit your hand with a loud ZAP.
"OOooh, oops, I always forget I have that one." she said, showing a practical joke hand buzzer.

"Haha, it's all good," I say, chuckling lightly, "So, I didn't catch your name."

"It's Rosa-Belle. Yours?" She asked as she removed the joy buzzer.

"Oh, like I said, just Alan. Alan Williams. Nowhere near as cool as Rosa-Belle," I say. Smiling, I turn. "So, what all do you have in here?"

"Well, we are a joke shop. We sell tricks, jokes, costumes, and all other sorts of silly things. Or if you are adventurous, I may have something even more amazing."

"You wouldn't mind showing me around would you?" I ask, eager to explore the mysterious shop with such a buxom girl. "Of course!" She says, "I'm so glad you asked!" Rosa-belle takes my hand and leads me towards the small faded sign labeled costumes.

"You sure you don't want to be a little adventurous. You strike me as a fun loving type." she said.

"Well, sure! I love to have some fun. But would you mind if I gave my girlfriend a call? She wants to be a clown for a costume party and you have some amazing costumes here-yours in particular."

"Tell her to stop on by." She said with a grin. A grin that said a lot more than even he knew.

A short phone call later, I say to Rosa, "She said she'd love to come. She should be here in about ten. Do you want to show me that adventurous stuff while we're waiting?" I smile.

"I sure do. Follow me." she said as she beckoned you towards the back room. Through a 1970's style bead curtain, you found yourself in a boring looking back room.
