I noticed the that the girl was shrinking from the potion. ''Oh yeah! Don't drink the blue potion.''

"Oh, thank's for the great advice!" Ellie snarled as she continued to get a bit shorter. After loosing about a foot of her height the shrinking suddenly stopped. The girl stumbled a bit, shaking her head as she looked around. Everything was so much taller than it used to be, and he clothes felt loose and baggy.
"What the hell..." she muttered, confused as to how a drink could do such a thing.

"Magic?" Ellie asked, tilting her head up to look at the man who was now far taller than she was. She frowned and shook her head.
"You have got to be kidding me. I'm hallucinating. Yes, that's what's happening." She paused, considering the option that this might not be an odd dream.
"Because magic isn't real...right?"

The girl visibly grimaced at the the comment that met her question. Not only was magic real, but she was introduced to this fact by someone who was obviously used to taunting people who were...unfamiliar with the mansion.
"Well excuse me for being new and undereducated." Ellie spat, obviously unamused at her situation. It wasn't that she really minded being shorter, but she was frustrated with her decisions. She was also frustrated with the man before her.
She began muttering in a barely audible voice as she looked around the room.
"I knew this was a bad plan, but no, I thought it would be interesting to look for myself. I thought I would go and see the 'art' that people spoke about."
Mid mumble she turned to the man. "Well, you obviously know more about this place than I do. Do you have a clue where I could find some different clothes?" She raised an arm, her sleeve extending far past her hand. "Preferably something that isn't magical?"

Ellie contorted her face in concentration. She wasn't sure how she felt about taking another potion. It might cause her to grow too large. If she never trusted anyone in this place how would she learn anything.
"I...I guess that will work. I mean, if it doesn't backfire. I'm trusting you on this one....what was you name? I don't think I caught it..."

She said the name out loud, a little surprised at its simplicity. Tsugaru was more fitting for the man, but John, that was a name she could remember.
"Well, I'm Ellie." She said quickly, nodding. "So, awkward introductions aside...you mentioned a growth potion?"

Ellie reached up and gingerly took the potion from the man's hands. She opened the cork and looked at it for a second, but her resolve strengthened as she drank the potion quickly. It didn't take long for the warm feeling to return as the girl waited to return to what she hoped would be her normal size.
