Lying on the ground sore, Andy felt like he was better off going home and staying locked in his room.

Andy had soon gotten the strength to get himself home as he went to his room and collapsed onto his bed. "I give up." he groaned before his phone rang. "Frankie? Hey...listen you can..."
"Andy...I need you over here now. Something has happened to Mary." Frankie said.

Andy soon hurried over. "I'm here...what...whoa!" Andy said looking into the tank to see a large swollen object with purple skin and hands and feet. "Mary? What happened to her?"
"The fruit did. Apparently in this case...addiction is a good thing. She ate only one but...by not intaking more of them within 24 hours, her body swelled up and changed pigment." Frankie said.

"She'll be fine. I just need to squeeze all the juice her body accumulated out of her body. Skin color will return to normal within a 2 day period. But what fascinates me is the continuing to eat berries seems to keep this phase under wraps. Not getting one within a 24 hour time frame of consumption will likely result in these cases." Frankie said.

"So...I should be making sure anyone that's had these berries gets more?" Andy asked. "But...I had a small one and a bite of the same one she had. How come I don't seem to be bloating up?" Andy asked. "Have you still been eating some since coming to us?" Frankie asked.

He soon returned with the berry as Frankie observed it. "It has more juice and energy then the one from yesterday. I wonder..." Frankie said pouring water on it as it swelled. "I see...the juice capacity of the berries increase the more water they intake."

"So starve the plants of water?" Andy asked as Frankie looked over the watermelon sized berry. "To get the smaller ones, yes." Frankie said, noticing the larger berry also gave off a stronger smell.
