As he greeted a few other people he checked the time. He had to start breakfast for Ian and his family by 7:30. If he was late by a second Dawn would quickly take over.

He made it to the kitchen, just a minute before Dawn entered. "Sorry, a little too slow, Dawn." Charles said.
