Taking his sword he stabbed the ground the circle was on, shattering sections as its glow faded. "Best dispose of this properly." He said, grabbing the shredded shirt of one of the guys and wrapping the dagger in it.

He left the shack and flew off. "But something puzzles me...why would you go and....wait...was this a...a diversion?" he thought. "The queens."

Before he could fly off he heard the large demon's roar before looking over to where he could see it's large form. He was surprised to see Adele with a strange blade and gently petting the demon's head. "There there. It's out, and another should be dealing with the circle. Try going home."

"Wonder where some kids got this serious of a blade?" Adele said, looking the blade over before the angel landed beside her.

"I guess you took care of the circle. I pulled this out of the demon's body." Adele said holding the blade.

"I figured he was just angry cause the knife was hurting him. So I pulled it out and he calmed right down." Adele said.

"Yeah but...It was a demon." He said. "Yeah, that was here against its will." Adele said, tossing the sword to the angel. "Mind taking that back to base?" She asked. "I can't...Not right now." He said. "I think this was a distraction so they could attack the queens."

"No...We would have known if they..." He started to say. "We know at least one spy is in our midst. If they have more who knows what else they kept hidden." Adele said as they spread their wings and took to the skies. "As much as I want to make sure the others are okay back at Heaven's Delight, we need to focus on getting to Jess."

Taking the lead Adele led him to Jess's house. Pounding on the door though there was no answer.
