The groups trek up the trail was mostly in silence. Along the way they couldn't help noticing how quiet it was. The only thing they heard was each others footsteps. There was no birds, no rustling, no nothing.

Some of the trees looked like they were wilting and dying. "Maybe we should pick up the pace...Once the sun starts setting behind the mountain it's going to get real cold real fast." Josh said.
