"True...Wonder where the other signs lead to?" Laurie said as they followed the path through a glen. "Not sure, but we can check it out later...Hey look, a house!" Misty said, seeing a house through the woods.

"Hmm...don't think I remember this from the story." Laurie said. "Well mom wrote her own version once so this may have some inspiration from that." Misty said as they headed over to said house.

"Empty? What kind of house has nothing inside?" Laurie asked, finding the front room had no furniture. "Not sure. Check the kitchen while I look around upstairs." Misty said as she started heading up to the second floor.

"Hmm...well the kitchen seems bare...but I see a few pies on the counter." Laurie said.

"Hmm...Seems like they were pulled out a while ago. They've cooled down." She said, poking the pies before her stomach grumbled.

"Well...maybe I'll have a slice." she said having a slice of apple pie. "Wow. That's pretty good. But...I feel funny." she said before she saw herself shrinking.

"Right...Forgot food and drinks can cause you to shrink or grow..." Laurie said, shrinking down to the size of a mouse. "Misty! Misty don't eat or drink anything!" Laurie cried out, making her way back toward the front room. Upstairs Misty found three doors. The one at the end of the hallway was a closet, leaving her two other rooms to check out.

Opening it up she walked into the room to find it set up like a normal bedroom. "Hmm, wonder why this room has furniture, but the rest of the house doesn't?"
