"Split up? But if we went together we could easily team up on harder characters." Laurie said. "Not to mention I can hardly walk with this pot." Katie said. "Then just your up special move to get around. Using those leaves like a chopper should get you a fair distance each time." Nancy said.

"We are our characters, so we just need to use our attacks, and some of yours are pretty OP." Laurie said, remembering how she'd pulled out Kirby's hammer. "Since you picked the puffball Laurie, you'll have an easier time getting to the floating stages. Nancy will handle the ground stages given Yoshi can only jump so high. Katie and I will handle the stages in between." Misty said.

Sucking in some air as she jumped, Laurie swelled up and held her breath. Flapping her tiny arms she floated from rooftop to roof top as she headed into the city.

"Okay....took some doing." Laurie said landing in a garage of sorts. "Wait, why am I in a..." she said before seeing a masked swordsman in her way. "Metaknight!"

"Wait...If you're here, then this garage is..." She said as the door pulled apart in the middle instead of rising up like normal. Metaknight quickly charged at her as the garage looked more like a hangar now.

Having dashed past her Metaknight turned around and jumped after her as the floor opened up and a platform started to rise out of it.

Turning around Laurie saw Metaknight dropping down toward her spinning in a small whirlwind. Before she could dodge he crashed into her, doing a bit of damage.

"Ow. That really hurt." she said as Metaknight came at her again. "Hammer time!" she said swatting him with a hammer.

Metaknight was knocked back but quickly recovered. Dashing at her he used his drill attack as the platform was heading for the Halberd.
