It was in the morning when an airplane was touching down in the city as something fell out of the cargo hold heading into the city.
"Ugh...so bored." Nancy groaned walking towards Misty's where the girls were going to be hanging. "Wish something fun would drop from the sky." she said before catching a strange box in her open hands.

"Whoa!...What's this?" She said, looking the box over.

"Hmm. A key on the side, some sort of dial underneath, notes etched in...this is a music box!" Nancy said. "I gotta show the girls."

With a pep in her step Nancy hurried for Misty's. Soon the four were in Misty's room looking at the strange music box Nancy was holding. "You said it just fell from the sky?" Katie asked.

"Probably fell out of an airplane." Laurie said looking it over. "The key is definitely what starts it up but this dial...seems to list multiple music genre's."

"Think that means it plays different music?" Nancy asked excitedly, wanting to turn the key.

"I guess so." Laurie said as Nancy quickly turned the key. As soon as she let go, the box shook a bit before the top opened.

The girls noticed a figurine they hadn't seen before pop up as the music box opened. It started to dance as the melody played.

"Hmm. Sort of a little...classy." Nancy said noticing how the others behaved as they started to dance as their clothes began to change into long flowing gowns and their hair done into buns.

"Wow...A magic music box." Nancy smiled. "Though why isn't it affecting me?"

Sitting there as the tune played she watched her friends dance gracefully. It was fun to see them dance so differently than she was used to.

As soon as the music stopped, so did their dancing. "My, what an exquisite sound." Katie said. "Indeed. I thoroughly enjoyed myself." Laurie said. "Same as I." Misty said as all three giggled.

"Why are you three talking so funny?" Nancy asked. She'd figured the spell on them would end with the music.
