Hugging the big balloon she floated there, not thinking much about where her mother might be.

They floated there for what seemed like forever before they suddenly deflated and shriveled into small balloons as a figure collected them.
"Ah...two more for my cart. They will make some child happy someday." they said evilly.
"THe end." Gina said.

It was getting late as Minda was working in her study. "Hmm..." She said, tinkering with a strange device she'd found. She was trying to get it turned on, but there were a few cut wires.

"I have no idea how a rat got in here but it did a number on this thing." Minda said carefully connecting the wires.

"That should do it...Now to...OW!" She yelped, almost dropping the machine as she got a small zap.

"A short or something?" She wondered before hearing the clock chime. "Is it after midnight already? Dang it. Guess I'll deal with you in the morning." Minda groaned, setting the device down on the table.

She yawned as she walked out of her study and headed off to bed where she instantly fell asleep.

As she slept small sparks crackled from her finger tips. The next morning Minda woke up with a yawn.
