"Maybe we should knock..." Henry said, reaching up and knocking on the door. Both were startled as the door simply fell open.

They were surprised how new the furniture inside looked. There was a twin bed in the corner with a handmade quilt on it. There was a table with three chairs, a counter with a faucet, a fireplace, and what looked to be a small fridge. "Can't believe they have running water up here..." They said, walking over to the faucet while Henry went about preparing a fire in the fireplace.

"Yeah. This is pretty good for some abandoned house." Henry said.

"Maybe someone does live here...They're just out..." The other hiker said. "Then make sure you make enough food for three people, just in case they show up." Henry said.

The looked up, seeing the door opening toward them. "H-hello?" They asked, expecting the owner to walk in.

They slowly walked towards the door and opened it to see some sort of circle below.

"Did the wind blow this open?" They wondered, kneeling down to look at the circle.

Reaching out they tried to brush some leaves from the circle. With the fading light they still couldn't see it that well.

As soon as the light was gone, the circle lit up with a strange eerie light.

They stumbled back, surprised by the sudden glow. "Uh...Henry!" They called out nervously.
