She made it halfway before the floor creaked. The creature's head snapped in her direction, letting out a roar.

The creature scrambled after her. Running as fast as she could Elise barely made it into the room and slamming the door shut.

"Its...exactly the same." she said before running to the next door and opening it to see another copy of the room. "This...makes no sense."

"How can this place have the same room over and over again?" She wondered. Walking over to the one she knew led to the hallway she looked out it and tried to figure out where it was in relation to the stairs.

"I should be able to get back to the hallway at least..." She said, sitting on the bed in surprise. "This place doesn't make any sense..."

The creature opened the door as it trudged in.

Elise tensed up, trying not to move as she instinctively vanished. If the creature didn't notice her perhaps it could lead her back to the hallway.
