Adventurers! A term used for those who enjoy going on quests and facing incredible dangers all in the pursuit of finding treasure or gaining glory. And a number of them...happen to come from our world.
It was a windy day as an old looking flyer rode on the winds as it landed on the ground of a nearby school.

The bell rang as students began pouring out. Some headed off to clubs, others went to sports practice. The rest went about heading home or to friend's houses to hang out. A group of friends were walking across the lawn talking as a breeze sent the flyer twisting and twirling in their direction.

"What in the?" One guy said grabbing the flyer. "Hiring Adventurers? What the?"

"Probably just some nerd thing." One of the girls said. "You don't know that. It could be for something else. Maybe a part time job." Another boy said.

"It says a village is requesting adventurers to their aide. They'll pay well." the boy said. "This is a prank, right?"

"Yeah. What village around here would be hiring heroes?" The girl laughed. "Does it specify an amount besides 'will pay well'?" Another girl asked, adjusting her glasses.

"No, just says will pay well." he said. "Hey, as a joke, why don't we apply? We know its fake." the second boy said.

"Fine, but if anyone asks, it was your idea." The first girl smirked. "So how do we apply?" The second girl asked, grabbing the flyer.

"Well we register our names on the flyer and then send it in." the boy said.

"Like mail it?" The first girl asked. "No, like throwing it in the wind." The second boy teased as the second girl pulled out a pen.

"Okay. We'll do it boy girl, boy girl." the first boy said as he wrote his name. "Henry Right."

"Yeah." He said as the second girl signed. "Why couldn't I sign after him first?" The first girl asked. "Weren't you the one not wanting to be associated with this Karen?" The second girl asked, rolling her eyes.
