"Come on dad. That's not fair. What if I have to plump someone up to convince them to hand over the book." Misty said before her father glared at her. "No magic at school." He said sternly. "You tell them it is your aunt's book and you shouldn't have lost it in the first place. If I find out you used any magic at school you'll find the next three weeks very unpleasant."

Handing over her necklace Misty went to her room. Tomorrow was going to be a long day. Opening a drawer with his own necklace Bob locked Misty's necklace inside.

As Misty got to school she was on edge as she began asking people about a book before first period. On the other side of the school though Alicia was already on her way to class as she looked through the book. She felt much better than the night before. Whatever drain the spells had taken seemed to be gone.

There were only a couple ways to find out. Ask and hope she was up front about it, or use magic to force her to use magic as well.
