They walked right into the malt shop as Misty pulled the lever as they ended up as in the 50s before Misty pulled it back to go back to the present. "Believe us now?"

"Wow...So each shop goes to a different year?" She asked curiously, still a little dazed from the sudden change of the malt shop.

"Yeah. Each store is a time machine. Each a different year since this mall was built in the 50s." Andrea said.

"Well if you're looking for the origin, wouldn't it be the oldest shop here?" She asked. "I mean it seems obvious these machines are connected to points in time when they were built, correct?"
