The second one took a step after them, but a distant roar had them stop. Too scared of what might still be out there they rushed back into the cave. Surely if the others did make it back to the entrance surely they'd send help back for them.

As the one assistant moved to the back of the cave the professor and his other assistant hurried through the thick jungle.

The other one glanced back over their shoulder nervously. "I doubt we'll be able to out run them for long." Conrad said as he followed Gina over a fallen tree.

Conrad and his coworker barely made it past as the rock rolled into the lead raptor. "See. Problem solved." Gina said as she slowed down a bit.
