The next day around 10, Minda soon entered the testing area as she saw Andy and Petra already waiting.

"Hi mommy. Bib brother said you wanted to help." Petra said with a big smile. "Yep. If nothing else I can provide snacks and drinks so you don't over do it." Minda said, kneeling down and hugging the little girl.

"Yeah. So if she offers to let you use your powers on her, don't be afraid to hesitate." Andy said.

"Okay." Petra nodded. "So, what's the first test of the day Andy?" Minda asked as Andy walked over to a clipboard and the camera.

"We'll start by practicing emotion manipulation." Andy said. "That's the ability to change a persons emotions."

"Well then I'm sure Petra will need a volunteer." Minda smiled. "I'll be looking at cards with emotions. Petra will read my mind to figure out the emotion and then influence you mom. That way the test isn't influenced by you trying to mimic the emotion mom."

'Got it." Minda said sitting down. "Okay. First one." Andy said as Petra tried reading Andy's mind.

As she did she found him repeating a single word. "Sadness." Looking to her mother Petra closed her eyes and worked on influencing Minda to feel sad.

Nodding some Andy flipped to the next card, As he focused on the emotion Petra started reading his mind as Minda placed a hand to her chest and sobbed.

Petra then focused on Minda as she looked around. "They're they're all around me." she said looking more scared than sad.

Petra wanted to reach for Minda's hand, but Andy had been clear that they needed to stay focused on the test. This meant controlling her own emotions as Andy went to the next card.

Petra focused as Minda stopped panicking. "Oh my...I never realized how wonderful you looked." Minda said staring at her own reflection.
