"Wow...I can't believe so much would happen to you." He said. "So...What kind of monsters have you run into here?" He asked as they reached the fountain. It didn't look as amazing with the water not shooting up into the air.

"Mostly slimes and demons. Which is ironic since one slime ended up making one of my roommates into a half slime." Jackie said.

"A half slime?" He said in surprise. "So then when you mentioned lots of hungry kids..." He said. "I meant a lot of little slimes yeah. They are cute, until they eat your food or slime you up. Some days I have to take several baths." Jackie said, sitting on the edge of the fountain. "Wow...Your life definitely sounds busy." Richard said as he sat beside her.

The two smiled at each other for a bit before Richard blushed. "So um...Should we kiss or something...I've only been on one other date and it didn't go as well..." He said.

He was surprised at first, but relaxed some as he enjoyed it. He reached up to wrap an arm around Jackie before noticing one of his hands started to swell up. Panicking he hid his hand and broke off the kiss. "We uh...We should probably get you home. Wouldn't want your friends to worry..." He blushed.

"I-it's nothing...Just don't want anymore bad things to happen to you with the park." He said as he got up. "They said it would last until midnight...So why is it wearing off now?" He thought as Jackie got up from the fountain. "Richard what's wrong?" She asked, reaching for his arm.
