Richard nodded. “I tried running from her, but not knowing the area I found myself at the edge of a cliff. Trapped she kissed me, but I lost my footing and fell off the cliff...I don’t know how I survived, but I woke up in this lab with some scientist.”

“A man. He was intrigued by what had happened to me. After creating this medicine to keep me as myself he asked me where to find the creature that had attacked me. I told him I didn’t know...Since then I’ve had to work for him in exchange for the medicine.” Richard said. “But lately it hasn’t been lasting as long. It’s why I broke the kiss before...I didn’t want to force this on you too.”

“I don’t know what to say...” He smiled. “Don’t say anything until after we meet her.” Jackie smiled.
“This isn’t good Jackie...” May said, shaking her head as she looked over Richard’s blood work. “I don’t know if something changed from the first kiss or because of this so called medicine....But his dna looks to have changed.”

“Changed as in it will take about that long to work on my own cure...and I can’t promise it will even work. Best bet is he just ends up stuck fat, but without the infectious spit or loss of his mind...Worst case...He has to be isolated the rest of his life.”
