She helped the woman out of the room and down the hall. Quietly they entered the nursery where Ty was still sleeping peacefully. “I’m sure when he wakes up he’ll want his mother to hold him.” She whispered.

The two stood there for a while before hearing some crying downstairs. "I better go tend to that. I'll be right back." She said, heading downstairs to check on her crying child.

Holding herself up with the crib she looked down at her sleeping son. He looked so cute. She hoped she'd be able to provide for him in this strange new world.
"This is why we don't run in the house." The mother said, helping a young girl up and kissing her scraped up knee.
