"No, get away." Jess said as it started sniffing her. She closed her eyes as it licked her, expecting to be eaten by it.

The bear let out a roar before Jess felt something small bounce off her body. "Leave her alone!" Shawn yelled, tossing rocks at the bear.

"Shawn!" Jess called out as the rocks simply bounced off her large blue body.

The bear roared at him, but the rocks hitting its face had it running off. "I'm so glad to see you." Jess said.

"Same...where's Jessie?" he asked. "Somewhere near the river." Jess said.

"Get me unstuck and lets get to her before anything else does." Jess said. "I'm pretty sure she hit her head and hurt her ankle while we were tumbling."

"Okay." Shawn said freeing Jess as they hurried downhill.

Shawn kept in front to keep Jess's speed from getting out of control. By the time they got to Jessie her eyes were closed. Dark blue tears stained her face and a purple stain was dripping from the side of her head.

"Hang tight. We'll fix you up." Jess said as Shawn put a bandage on the girls head.

Once he was done Shawn put a hand on his daughter's chest. "I still feel a heartbeat. We need to get her back to the car." He said, rolling the unconscious girl away from the rocks.

It felt like it took longer to get back to the car even with the girls able to roll. Loading Jessie in the back Shawn tried to figure out how to get Jess in the car.
