Closing her eyes she tried to get some sleep. She was startled though when she heard a board creak. She listened quietly, wondering if she was hearing things before there was another creaking.

"Someone's here? This late at night?" she said as her eyes darted around the room, hoping to see something.

Her eyes darted around, looking for movement in the darkness as the creaking got closer. Soon she saw the glow of a light.

"She left you? Surprising...Even more surprising is how you don't seem to be getting bigger." They said, putting a hand on Roxy's side. Roxy squinted, the light on her face almost blinding.

"Sorry...But you don't need to know that." They said before putting a clothe over Roxy's mouth. Her cries were muffled as she struggled. Soon though her eyes grew heavy before she passed out.
