As they finished burying him Minda couldn't help shivering. "Thinking you should have brought a jacket?" Bob asked as he patted the dirt with his shovel.

"Well if I called work to deal with it they would have wanted to search the house for anything else he messed with. You really want the guests to be kept out while they spend days going over the whole house's systems?" Bob asked.

"No." Minda sighed. "And given he was our IT guy, it would have taken weeks."

"Exactly. I mean if his consciousness hadn't been deleted in the computer I'd have had us stash him on the medical floor." Bob said, walking over and trying to comfort his wife. "I wish I could do something to make things easier for you." He sighed.

"Alright." Bob said, softly kissing her forehead as they headed home. Heading up to one of the floors he sat her down in a chair and strapped her in. The nearby console began loading up all her memories.

"Okay...here we go." he said programming it as all memories of Gene's existense were slowly wiped from Minda's memory.

Bob watched closely, wanting to make sure it didn't delete any other memories. Though he was also worried about it potentially shorting out. The room hardly got any use after all.

It took over an hour before the process was complete as Minda awoke. "So...how do you feel?" Bob asked.
