She groaned as she realized Andrea was heading for the desert. She needed to catch up to her before her daughter got lost out in the dunes. Not easy though given how in shape her daughter was.

She ran across the desert sands and after her daughter before seeing her run into a set of ruins.

"At least it's shelter..." Minda thought. She followed Andrea in as a wind started to blow across the desert. Looking around Minda tried to transform back into a more human form.

"Well...its not completely human but it'll do." Minda said scratching her fox ears.

Walking in with her new tail swishing she looked around. "Andrea?" She called out, hoping her daughter had gone too far into the ruins.

"Hopefully, she hasn't gone too far." Minda said going further in until she spotted one of Andrea's shoes down a tunnel before running down it before seeing Andrea lying on the ground before a large statue. "Andrea!"

Running over she checked her daughter, worried she'd been attacked. She was relieved to find a pulse. "Did she exhaust herself, or was there something in here that knocked her out?" Minda asked, looking around before looking up at the large statue.

"Wonder if this was..." Minda said before seeing it move. "What the?" she said before standing there as a large creature. "Pokedex?" Minda asked. "Golurk, the Automaton Pokemon and the evolved form of Golett! A Ground and Ghost Type! Artillery platforms built into the wall of ancient castles served as perches from which GOlurk could fire energy beams." it said.

"Energy beams?" Minda said in surprise. Worried for her daughter Minda grabbed for Andrea as the Golurk looked down at her.

"Golurk must be the ruins protector. We need to leave." Minda said running as Golurk stood on its arms as its legs retracted as power gathered.

Minda was grateful Andrea didn't take too much after Misty as she carried her. Of course her strength was a bit more than normal given her change. Minda barely got out of the way as the Golurk fired a blast at the wall behind her. "So much for staying her for the night..." Minda groaned as she rushed to find her way back to the entrance.

"Come on..." Minda said running about before running out the entrance. "Phew...finally."

"Though it's still a ways out of the desert..." She said, gently setting her daughter down as she caught her breath. "And it isn't easy keeping up this disguise while carrying her..." Minda said, one of her hands turning back into a claw. "Maybe I should focus on getting us a place to rest...Though when the sun rises the desert will get hot and we have no supplies..."
