Hurrying through town to the bookstore she walked up just as the old man inside was getting ready to close up. "Excuse me, I'm looking for my husband." Minda said as she walked up.

"He's blond and I think he was looking for me." Minda said. "He looks like this." she said showing a photo of Bob.

The old man looked curious before seeing Bob's picture. "Ugh, him. Yeah he came by with two other guys. Asked if you or two others had been in here. Told him no, but they were persistent. Told them they could look around the store while I got myself some tea. My blood pressure was almost boiling as much as my tea pot." He said. "Been trying to figure out for hours if they took anything after they left a mess of books on my floor."

"No idea. By the time I returned with my tea there was a mess of books on the floor and no sign of them." He said. "Now if that's all I'd like to go home and rest." He said.

"Can't you come back when I'm open?" He asked, getting annoyed with her. "Especially since most of the books were put back on the shelves."

"But what would have sent them off in such a hurry? Unless they saw us, Bob wouldn't normally leave such a mess." Minda said, rubbing her head as she tried to think.

Hurrying back to the shop she saw no sign of the old man. Snapping her fingers the door unlocked as she let herself in. "Now lets see...where were they....there." She said, seeing some books still on the floor.
