Patti nodded, following close to Jess. Compared to the others she felt like the weak link. She didn't have any special skills, she didn't have any experiences like this. She was just a fragile city girl who could only take a hit when she was a toon. She'd even heard about how Roxy had once hunted with a wolf on some mysterious mountain. She doubted she'd leave camp much once they had gotten it setup.

All the teams soon returned to camp. "So...progress?" Minda asked. "Well, looks like we're definitely on an island." Jackie said. "And nothing we can use to escape with." Missy said.

"Leaving the island would be risky. Without knowing which way the currents go or where the mainland is we risk dying sooner if we build a raft. At least here we have water and food." Gina said. "Yeah. Shame we didn't find a cave, but at least we got some supplies." Sabrina said. "Hopefully it won't rain anytime soon. Without shelter we're really exposed." Jess said as her and Patti handed the others each a banana.

"Though if we set up a system of big leaves, we could collect rain water as drinking water, less trips to the lake." Roxy said.

"True, but we need to stay dry when that happens. With no clothes we'd get cold fast in a rain storm, even huddled together." Minda said. "Sabrina and I will handle that if you girls want to try getting a fire going." Gina said. "If nothing else the smoke would be a small signal to anyone passing by."

"A little convenient." Minda said. "Be sure to be careful when out collecting stuff. There was some wild animal in the bushes when Patti and I were collecting food. Might be harmless, but best to be cautious." Jess said.

Finishing up their bananas Sabrina and Gina got up. "If we plan to make shelter here we'll need you girls to clear a spot for the shelter. Maybe over here." Gina said.

By the time Gina and Sabrina got back a spot was ready to build the shelter. "Need a drink?" Roxy asked, offering up two coconut halves. "Thanks. All this work and little intake...Can't wait until the shelter is up." Sabrina said as she took one and quickly drank it down. "It will take quite a bit of work. We'll want to make a sloped roof and elevated floor for the bed." Gina said.
