Getting up he went to search for the siblings. As they were leaving school the two were giving each other dirty looks.

"Should have known something was up when he was hesitant to curse his ex-friend...Well he won't get the chance to." She thought. Both quickly lifted a hand up to the other.

In a flash of light, the two ended up cursing each other at the exact same time. "Yep...that's what normally happens when cursing schemes come in pairs." the man sighed as he approached.

In place of Sara was a gnarled old tree that looked almost like a person. Her brother Sam however had been replaced with a slug. With the book on the ground between them the man walked over to pick it up.

"The tree that was once Sara is still standing in town to this day. Not sure what became of her slug of a brother." Missy said as she put one of the books back on the shelf.
