"One, but it's during the full moon and gobble fest. Not sure it would be wise to mix gobble fest and the glutton off." The demon said as the others just groaned. "At this rate it will be a whole year before we get another glutton off."

"I don't understand. What is gobble fest and what does a full moon have to do with it?" Jess asked.

"This particular full moon is a blood moon my queen. It increases demons powers, our appetite, and our desire specifically for food. It's why gobble fest is held during it. A large feast is made for us to give in to our heightened desires." The demon said. "And if we happen to be summoned to the human world our bodies give off this scent that infects humans with gluttonous desires. Such desires can make them act weird, and there is the risk of the desire never fading."

"You sure my queen? We could end up with every demon competing given the situation." The demon said. "Not to mention you're the first half demon ruler we've had. No telling how gobble fest will affect you, or your family if you're around them."

Finishing up the meeting Jess gathered her family and returned home. The weeks flew by as Jess began to relax.

Gobble fest soon reared its head as Jess was in attendance. "Oh my...its like every gluttons dream mushed into one." Jess said.

"Sure you are up for competing my queen?" The demon asked as a lunar clock overhead counted down to the full moon. "I mean you could just assign a proxy and head home if you wish."
"No, I need to be here. Otherwise the other demons might think I'm not up to the challenge." Jess said.

"Very well my queen." The demon nodded. Another smiled as he approached with an old bottle. "A very special drink, to commemorate your first gobble fest my queen." He said, holding the bottle out as he bowed his head.
