It seemed like an ordinary day in the Noble household as Minda was in her study reading from one of her books before she heard a sort of hooting. Looking around, she didn't notice anything out of the ordinary until she spotted a small owl like creature sitting on one of her shelves.

"Huh? How did you get in here?" Minda said as she got up. Something about its round shape had her thinking it wasn't a normal owl. "Where did I put it..." She said as she started looking around for something.

"Ah...here's the pokedex." Minda said as she activated it. "Bzzt! Rowlet, the Grass Quill Pokemon! A Flying and Grass Type! At a distance, it launches its sharp feathers while flying about. If the enemy gets too close, Rowlet switches tactics and delivers vicious kicks." it said.

She reached for it but was surprised to find it fast asleep. "Huh..." she said picking it up.

"Well, guess if you're sleeping I could easily take you back there. Probably have a family that is missing you." Minda said as she went to carry the Rowlet out of her study.

Rowlet shuddered a little before looking at her. It trilled as it rubbed against her.

"Oh, I didn't mean to wake you." Minda said. "Though you seem to like me petting you." She smiled, liking how soft its feathers were.

As she walked down the hall, she noticed a small creature lying in the hall. "Another one?" she said as the pokedex was active. "Bzzt! Cyndaquil, the Fire Mouse Pokemon! A Fire Type! It has a timid nature. If it is startled, the flames on its back burn more vigorously." it said.

"Oh? Well that makes you a problem. Can't wake you up, but can't leave you here to get stepped on." Minda said as she tried to think of a plan.

"Okay..." Minda said slowly putting a foot under Cyndaquil as she slowly lifted it to her arms.
