For a brief moment in her panic Iara had flashes of memories flood her mind. Memories of dancing in a sleezy looking place. Guys being grabby and other girls taking the hits when they tried to protect her. And for a moment one of the men briefly turned into Ian. Breathing heavily Iara stared in shock as she broke into a cold sweat. "Iara...Look at me..." Fuse said softly. "You need to focus and let your mind be open...I know there is fear of what some of those thoughts mean...But if you open your mind you can see things clearer."

"I...I can't." she panted as it seemed like her arms were starting to split.

"Yes you can. Don't think of it like being interment with the other person. Think of it like shaking hands." Fuse said, knowing a forced de-fusion wouldn't be any more pleasant than what she was mentally going through. "Just reach out a hand, and let the other person take it." He said as her legs started to split.

Closing her eyes she tried to imagine holding out a hand. Her hair was somewhat on end, splitting some as she waited for the other hand to grab hold.

She let out a gasp as memories began flooding her mind. She could only focus on holding onto the hand to keep from being overwhelmed. She saw memories of both her halves, their good days and their bad. As things started to settle she saw the memory of when she was checking herself out in the mirror. The suppression she'd done had caused part of her to panic, to feel like she was being forced down in her own body. There were thoughts of Nancy at the same time, but they were worries she was being cheated. This had caused the one part to want the medallion off, to be free in their own body again. "Is...Is that why I saw part of me like one of those guys?" Iara said as her splitting body settled back into a single form. "The girl me thought he was being unfaithful...that he was like so many other guys..." She said as tears started to roll down her cheek. "Let it out." Fuse said as he hugged her softly. "This is the openness I wanted for you two. To clear the air with words neither could bring themselves to say."

After a few minutes of holding her Fuse gently rubbed her back before stepping back. "Ready to join the others, or would you like to stay here?"

"Not in the last couple weeks. You two always try to keep busy, even when living in the same place." Fuse said. "She's usually in her room when not working, and you tend to be hanging out with Nancy a lot more. I know you're dating, but you can't neglect others in your life master."

Fuse sighed as Iara left the room. Shaking his head he returned to his stone.
