Letting out a sigh of relief Gina leaned back against the door. “Is the ride finally over?” Patti asked tiredly, her eyes just a daze as her large body sat there.

“My, what a lovely violet costume dearie.” The old shrew standing there smiled. “My granddaughter does so love that real people classic.” She said, reaching into a bowl of candy.

“Of course. Have a good night dearie.” The old shrew smiled before gently closing her door. “Bet Rose will love one of these.” Gina smiled as she unwrapped and ate one of the candies.

By the time she got Patti to the border Gina felt nearly exhausted. “Alright Patti…Let’s park you some where secure so I can go get Jess.” Gina said, trying to ignore her grumbling stomach.

Patti was softly sleeping, having been exhausted from the ordeal. “At least she isn’t hungry.” Gina sighed as she headed back to get Jess. “Wonder if we’ll still make the competition?”
