"How though?" Roger asked. "I have two theories right now. One is she is holding all the missing toons somewhere and siphoning their paint to sustain her own body. The second, more likely and even more dangerous...She drained each toon of their paint, killing them in the process. This means her changes are either deliberate, to find another target, or accidental and she is unstable with her victims thoughts and desires running through her head." Brian said.

"Both theories cannot be verified without proof though." Jessica said. "Though...its been over a year now after that weretoon incident and its stunning to find one of them still alive."

"She's technically not the only one alive..." Brian said. "From what I know the human reporter June shares a half life with the toon reporter who supposedly sacrificed herself to stop what happened." Brian said. "With her help and your best agents..."
"My best agents are busy out of state with a more pressing issue." Jessica said.

"A real world town contacted the council about some of its residents waking up tooned. While not dropping my name specifically they told the town's mayor we had agents that could help. Some of those residents are scared, while others have gone off the rails." Jessica said. "Pulling them out now could cause problems between the real world and toons."

"What about that other hippo that helped with those rogue toons? Couldn't she help?" Roger asked. "She's from the real world, so that would be her call. But given the danger I doubt she'd want to worry about a toon problem. She has a daughter to think about." Jessica said.

"I hope you're right. But...I got a bad feeling about all of this." he muttered to himself.
"Oh...its just another wonderful day...in Meg's...Wacky...World!" said toon laughed to herself as she strolled around an old warehouse.
