The only time he was let out was when Minda would take him to the river for a drink, or to the garden for a snack. He could hardly eat an entire fruit or vegetable by himself, but as the days passed, he found himself able to eat more of each. Waking up one morning he felt a bit groggy as Minda came to check on him.

"Yeah..." Bob yawned. "Ready to go out for breakfast?" She smiled as she opened the cage. "What are we having today?" He asked as his stomach grumbled. As he went to rest a hand on it something felt off.

He was startled to see how big and soft his belly looked. He was confused as to how it had happened given he'd only eaten fruits and vegetables. "Something wrong?" Minda asked as she carefully picked him up.

"Do I seem...bigger?" he asked. "Maybe in the middle. Weird. I have never gotten like that." Minda said as she gently prodded him.

He blushed as she prodded his belly. "Maybe it's from all the time you spend in your cage..." She said, finding the softness a bit amusing.

"Maybe I should keep you out more often. Get some more exercise." Minda said.

"Maybe...But that would require me to walk around more than just by the river." Bob said as his belly jiggled a bit with each of Minda's steps.

"Besides you I haven't seen any animals. Not even fish in the river...Surprised you don't cook any fish or rabbits." Bob said, shielding his eyes from the bright sun.

"So what do you do with the critters you catch in your garden?" Bob asked. "I take them to the far side of the island and leave them with something to nibble on." Minda said, kneeling down as she set Bob down in the garden.

"Not even by accident?" Bob asked as she went about picking some food for breakfast. "Well...Maybe one bunny I grabbed too hard when I was younger..." She said, looking away sadly.
