"Ugh...this is the worst!" one guy said as he and two others were running across the woods during the middle of a sudden rainstorm.

"Look!" another said as they saw a mansion in the distance as they ran towards it.

Getting through the old iron gate they ran toward the front door. At first the door was stuck, but soon they got it open. Closing the door behind them they shivered as they looked around the dark foyer.

"Doesn't look like the powers been on in years either..." The guy said, flipping the nearby light switch only to get nothing.

Nodding the group looked to the stairs. No wanting to fall through if the floorboards upstairs were rotten, they headed under the stairs and down the hallway. "What's with all these signs?" The girl asked as they walked past a few locked doors.

"Didn't look slated for demolition so we should be fine until the storm passes." The other guy said. "Hey, this door isn't locked." The girl said as she pushed the door open and walked into the room.

They followed her in. Inside, they saw the room was normal sized but all of the furniture was strange. One chair was tiny while a dressed looked big enough for a giant.

"What the heck? Is this some tourist trap kind of house?" One of the guys said. "Not sure, but either of you got some matches?" The other guy asked, spying a candle on a nearby table.

"I'll check over..." the girl said checking a nearby table before finding a book on top. "Whoa. I found a guest book."

"A guest book? Great. If this building has a fireplace we have something to burn for warmth." One of the guys said. The group was startled when they heard the lighting of a match before finding the candle lit. "Did one of you do that?" She asked.

"Nu uh." both guys said. "Well, since we have light, a little reading won't do us any harm." she said sitting on the bed.
