"And don't I just look amazing?" The reflection asked with a laugh. "No!" Jess yelled, punching the mirror before pulling her hand back in pain.

"Oh you are so getting it." Jess said as she grabbed a bronze statue from the dresser top.

"Worth it!" Jess said as she hurled the statue as the mirror shattered.

Jess smiled as the shards fell to the ground. "Now to get Hugo to fix me and..." Jess said before the broken mirror shards began to glow.

A flash enveloped the room as Jess shielded her eyes. "Tarnation that was bright." Jess said as she rubbed her eyes.

Looking down at the reflection in the mirror Jess smiled as she saw her normal reflection. "Sorry sugar, but whatever bad luck you thought I'd get doesn't look to be happening." Jess smiled, unaware her entire figure and mannerism had changed to match the previous reflection's.
