The slime moved closer, looking at Rosie curiously after seeing her change. "Now what is it doing?" May asked as the slime's body began to ripple.

"Not sure." Rosie said. "I think it may be trying to imitate what we just did."

"Surely it couldn't do that...Right?" May asked. "Uhhh..." Rosie said, unsure as the slime looked to be growing arms.

"Fascinating..." May said, watching as the slime grew a bit in size as its arms finished forming. "This might make taming it easy." May said as the slime began forming stubby little legs.

"Its like an infant. Its learning from what its seeing. It could also be a form of scanning." May said. "Registering what you look like."

"Don't you mean your form? You did say you were its mama before we swapped to protect you." Rosie said, watching as the slime tried to form a tail and muzzle. "It likely sees us as the same person."

Soon the toon slime had finished shifting. While still colorful, it looked more like a real toon rather than a slime. "Ma...ma..." It said, holding its arms up as it tried to take a step.

Staggering the slime fell forward, Rosie barely catching it before it could fall on its face. The toon hippo blushed as the slime smiled at being held. "Something tells me it just imprinted on me..." Rosie said, standing the slime back on both feet.

"Looks like it." May said. "Hmm...you still have all those pictures of other toons, right? See if it'll turn into those."

"Um...Okay." Rosie said. As the slime tried walking again Rosie reached into her pocket. After digging around for a bit she pulled out the pictures. "Okay, let's go with something easy..." She said as she looked through the pictures.

The slime looked at the picture curiously before its body began to ripple. Becoming transparent again the slime began changing in shape and size.
