"Yeah." Jules giggled. The two watched the movie for a bit before there was a knock at the door. "Must be room service. I'll get it." Jules said as she got up.

She opened the door as room service came in with their meal.

"Let us know if you need anything else ladies." The maid said with a bow. "We will, thanks. Oh, did they remember the side of ranch dressing I asked for?" Mrs. Silva asked. "Right here miss." The maid said, pointing out the dipping cup. "Thank you."

Grabbing an onion ring Mrs Silva dipped it in the ranch dressing. She’d been tempted to order a shake to drink, but figured a root beer would be good to keep from overdoing it. She had to set the example for her daughter after all. “Mmm, so good.” She smiled as she enjoyed the onion ring. “Yeah. Andy’s sister is looking to be a top chef someday so she sometimes helps with room service.” Jules said as she reached for a curly fry.

Eating their dinner the two continued to watch their movie. “I’ll never understand why she falls for the guy she hardly knows. I mean with her high school crush they had a lot in common.” Jules said as the movie got closer to the end.

She thought of the good days when her parents still loved each other, even if she was pretty young at the time. Surely her mother hasn't fully given up on her dad. Maybe there was still a small chance of them rekindling their love.
