I kept after her, my human reason now controlled by lion-instinct. If we just came to some obstacle, my lion-brain told me, she'd have to turn back.. and then I'd get her!

But of course Marian may have watched too much horror movies to realize she wouldn't turn back until her chaser was worn out. 'Its like the movies.' She thought as if it was still a game.

I keep chasing, wondering why the setting has changed to a jungle....

"You cant catch me," Marian taunted, "You cant catch me."

I keep running, not trying to catch Marian now, just trying to keep up...

Then Marian jumped over a piece of broken wood.

"Get me OUT!" I roar.
Then, too late, I realize others can hear me! Someone's coming!

Then Marian climbed down to try to get you out.

Sudenly, at the top of the pit, a group of hunters appear! "Got one!" A man cheers.
"No!" Another shouts, "Got TWO!"
I look around at the wals of the pit. Too high for me to jump. Can you do it?

Marian looked up, and then bent her knees like she was going to jump.

At the top of the pit, the hunters backed off a bit, seeing Marian ready to spring.
