"This is just a standard salon room. Full service makeovers and such."

I look around, frowning. Nothing really seems out of the ordinary, even the bright and multi-shaded pink decor makes the whole room seem harmless. "Full service makeovers?" I ask, digging a little deeper. "Mind explaining exactly what that would entail?"
Maybe this place is a brothel, I think, judging the asian woman's reaction.

"You know, haircut, massage therapy, hot stone treatments, facials, makeup consultancy." Myung smiles. "Things somebody like you couldn't possibly ever want."

I smirk, hearing a tone in the woman's voice. "I get haircuts same as the next person, Miss," I say, slightly laughing. "I even had a massage once. All in all, though, I'd say it's just a waste of money. Although I can't judge, I know my wife often visits a spa."
I adjust my utility belt and take another look around the room, turning down my radio. "I have to say though, it's very professional-looking, you all keep up appearences. How many rooms do you have?"

Myung looks pensive, "A little over five hundred."

I shake my head slowly, laughing. "I can't believe that." This woman isn't taking any of this seriously at all, I think. Perhaps she's trying to take my attention away from something.
"So what exactly do your treatments consist of?" I ask, changing the subject. "Just like the standard spa stuff?"

"Of course. Would you care for a sample? I can give you a quick painless manicure if you'd like."

"I've honestly never had a manicure," I answer, looking at my nails, then back at Myung. "I'm sure you have better things to do though, then fussing over my hands, Miss."
"Anyway, with my work my nails get messed up everyday. I don't exactly have a desk job. I can't worry about keeping them neat. Aren't manicures for women, anyways?"

"Not at all! A lot of men get manicures! It shows you are devoted to cleanliness and always looking your best. A lot of the girls I know love their men to have nice nails."

"Haha, I wouldn't call myself devoted to being clean," I laugh. "Your offer sounds alright though, I suppose it could help me see what exactly goes on here."
"Would you be willing to show me behind the scenes more if I got a manicure?" I ask. "I know I don't exactly have a search warrant...yet."

"Well, certainly! I mean, we have nothing to hide here. You won't even need that search warrant when you're done here," Myung says. "Normally I'd have one of my girls take care of you, but I'll take care of your manicure personally!"

I smile, realizing that she doesn't want me to talk to anyone else at the salon; this woman is hiding something for sure. Why else would she insist on staying with me the whole time?
"I'm sure you have other things to do, Miss." I say, slowly. "I don't want to take you away from your duties. I'm sure one of your employees can do a fine job."

"Nonsense, officer. THis is obviously important, and I want to show you the quality work we do here with nothing to hide. None of my other girls even know you are here right now. Please, have a seat."

I frown and take a seat in the middle of the room. "Why would none of your girls know that I'm here, Myung?" I ask strongly. "It seems a bit odd, a little too odd in fact that you'd be trying to keep my presence here a secret."
I stare at her eyes, looking for any hits of lying, fear, or realization. "I'm going to have to insist on talking to each one of your employees...Miss."

Myung shrugs, "Very well, hold on a moment." She pulls out a cellphone and says, "Yes, please send Heidi to Room One." Heidi will be here in a moment. You can speak to anyone you wish."
