The door of the Balloon Room practically swung itself open at my touch, expecting my arrival on time. I walked pleasantly into the room, before looking around within it. "Good evening!" I called out, to nobody in particular.

A maid turned around and giggled. "Well, good evening to you as well, Cali!" she laughed.

I briskly walked over to greet the maid. "Hello and hi to you!" I smiled at her. "How have you been doing? I thought I'd stop by and see if anything was going on in here..."

"It's pretty quiet as of now...but anything can happen."

"Ah, I see... well, still, it's good to see you!" I smiled. "So... if you'll excuse me, I'm going to look around." I nodded politely, as I began to look around the room to see if there were any particularly interesting or inviting looking objects or doorways...

There, on a nearby table was a small chest. It was unlocked.

"Oooh, hello now... what's this?" I said, as I stepped over to the table and examined the chest. I was feeling adventurous, and decided to open it without giving much of a second thought to the matter.

Inside was a key. How odd. The key was old and rusty, and it had a note attached.
"Leave this room with this key, go down the hall, and find a red door."

"Hmm, strange... well, these sorts of notes usually know more than I do." I picked up the key, turning it over in my hand, before walking out of the room with it and heading down the hallway. It took a little while, but I eventually encountered a large, red door. The key I was carrying fit neatly into the lock... it took a little effort to turn, but when I did, the door slowly began to creak open...

The door, which you expected to lead to another room, actually opened up into someplace out doors. A wide open garden of sorts.

"Oooh... what a nice view!" I stepped through the door, and out into the garden, letting the door close behind me. "I wonder why a key from the Balloon Room would lead here, though...?" I wondered aloud, as I began to walk forward a bit.

The door slammed shut behind you as you entered and vanished.

I gasped at the sound of the door-slam, and immediately whirled around to face the door... or where the door once was. "Uh oh!" I reached out and waved my hand in the empty space, feeling nothing in particular. "Oh dear... well, I guess I should look around here for now." I turned back to the garden, and began to walk around.

From around the corner, you heard a giggle. It was loud enough to hear, but not loud enough to tell exactly where it came from.

"Hmm, hello?" I turned my head in the direction I thought I heard the giggle from, but saw nothing. I looked around a bit more. "Hello? Is... someone there?" I called out, hoping for a response.
