I walked through the front gate of the maze, as per the norm. A strange, foreboding wind seemed to be blowing...
"Brr. Kinda chilly tonight." I pulled my arms close. "I really hope this isn't a bad sign..."

The first thing she was greeted with was the common walkway with the halloween decorations as some of the others had. With the dead trees hanging over her.

"Looks like the whole maze is getting into the spirit of the Halloween season!" I stated aloud to nobody in particular, as I continued along the maze's first path, naively hoping to see what would lie in wait.

Then the path went down to two, one to the left, and the other to right.

With no clues as to which path led to what, I decided to take the path leading off to the right, hoping it would lead to something fun.

Already now leaves were blowing in his way as she continued down the path.

"Oh dear..." I stepped out of the way of the leaves, probably unnecessarily, as I continued on along the path.
As I continued to walk along the path, I saw some sort of structure in the distance that resembled... some sort of mall or toy store?

It was of course seemed to be a toystore, but how did something like this wound up the maze? We may never know.

I approached the toy store and tried pushing the door open. The lights seemed to be off inside, but that didn't stop me...

Then behind her, the doors slowly closed. With the bell ringing.

"Helloooo?" I called out, as I took a few steps further into the store, past the check-outs, and towards the actual aisles. "...Is anyone in here?"

There were no signs of life anywhere, on some of the sides of the wall were just empty boxes, and some filled with dolls, and anything else inside.

"Gosh..." I uttered, as I continued to navigate around between the shelves and through the aisles. "It's really dark in here, I wonder if there's a light in here somewhere, or maybe something neat for me to stumble upon..."

She wondered to the end of the store, with another empty box along with a little switch right besides it.

"Oh! What's this for, I wonder?" I said, once again ignoring the fact that there was nobody to talk to, as I decided to switch on the switch next to the box, just to see what would happen.
