Break ups always prove to be an emotional time. Richard, a case of one in comparison to many, was just kicked out by his girlfriend and exiled never to return.
He wasn't a bad guy by any means, He worked hard and tried to rake in as much cash as he possibly could, though in the end it all proved to be for naught. It wasn't his fault he was attracted to assholes.
Packing his bags, loading his car and taking to the roads to return home was the best option he had, even if it was the middle of the night. It could always get home faster by going through the woods, despite the fact that the road was surrounded by a foggy haze....

As he drove through the woods the haze seemed to be thicker than usual. It only took a moment for him to glance around curiously when a pocket opened up, revealing a young woman holding her arm, terror in her eyes as the head lights shined on her. Without much thought Richard jerked the wheel, just barely missing the woman. Unfortunately he quickly found himself going into the ditch, his car coming to a halt as the front bumper met a sturdy old oak tree.
As he started to come to from the airbag deploying he could faintly hear a voice...a female voice. "Oh my god...Are you okay?" The woman asked, walking with a slight limp over to the car.

Still groggy and shocked from his sudden ordeal, Richard looked up to see the woman limping towards him. With his heart still racing, he managed to muster a reply. "I am.... Alright" He spoke in a suave British toned accent. "I'm not sure my car is though", he said as he continued and opened the door, looking the woman up and down slowly. Still being shaken from crash both physically and mentally.

The slim woman had shoulder length red hair, a purple streak falling across her face. Her fair skin was dirty, as if she had taken a tumble. She was dressed in a black top, khaki shorts, and dark brown boots. Given the way she was leaning on her right foot it was obvious whatever was causing the limp was from her left leg. It was possible she had fallen some how, but the scratches on her limp left arm suggested she may have startled something in the woods. "You sure? That was a hell of a crash." She said as she looked Richard over.

Richard looked over to his car. Much to his surprise, the oak tree he had collided with looked to be in a perfectly healthy condition, his car on the other hand was quite the opposite. The smoke escaping from his bonnet was a true testament to that.
"Either way, my car definitely doesn't look to be in a working condition" Richard replied, turning his head back to the girl. "Speaking of, you definitely don't look to be in 100% What on earth happened to you?" He said, acknowledging her less than formal appearance.

The woman glanced away, her cheeks turning red as she blushed. "I...I was out hiking when I came across a couple wolves. They weren't happy to see me, but that was only because they had pups with them. They chased me for a while before I fell down this small cliff. I saw smoke over the top of the forest and was heading for that when..." She said, glancing back up at Richard.

Her story was quite the interesting one, She must have been lost for ages if she was out hiking during the day assumed Richard, as he pondered slightly during her story. Looks like they were both in the same boat for the meantime. If only his ex would of allowed him to keep his own cell phone.
"When?" Richard asked, as her attention derailed slightly.

"When the fog rolled in...I'm not sure if I got turned around or not, but before I could figure out your headlights suddenly shined on me." She said, the two not noticing the foggy haze was thinning around them. "Any chance you got a phone to call for help? Mine kinda got separated from me when I fell."

"I guess that makes two of us..." Richard replied, looking down to the floor in disappointment. "Looks like we are both in the same boat here" Richard said. The man who was wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a black fleese looked back at his car, what by this time, had stopped smoking. "I haven't a map either, care for a little walk? I promise I'll try my best to be the one who gets mauled by a bunch of wolves if they come looking for us!" Richard said, in a joking/reassuring tone. "Hey, you never know, they could of been werewolves or something!" He said, looking her over again, specifically at her scratches.

"Ha ha, very funny." She said sarcastically, obviously not amused with the thought the wolves had been werewolves. "Hopefully we can find the source of that smoke I saw." She said before turning and starting to limp down the road. Looking down for a moment you noticed a pendent chain hanging out of her back pocket.

As she began to limp away, Richard noticed the strange looking pendant chain from her back pocket dangle and swing as she limped away I wonder what that pendant is all about anyway he thought to himself, walking up close to her to take a closer look,. "Say, you never know!" Richard continued, trying to distract her from what he was doing. "You could be a werewolf right now... Or you never know.... A rare werepunk!" He said jokingly, but serious in his tone in an attempt to scare her. Almost edging her to ask what it was.

"Werepunk?" She said, sounding confused. "You just made that up didn't you?" She asked, shaking her head. As Richard tried to get a look at the pendant chain he noticed strange scribbles on it. He could also see two points in her pocket, likely the pendant attached to the chain.

"Oh no no no, Not at all! Everybody where I have come from has heard about the werepunks!" Richard continued, keeping his eyes fixated upon the pendant looking chain in her back pocket. He paused for a moment thinking of what he should fabricate. "They are obese looking Gothic and punk looking chicks , You know, with the pale skin and black makeup? They prowl forests just like this at night" Richard said, giggling slightly under his breath "Don't let their looks fool you, they are super fast and incredibly strong".
"The worst thing of all is how they convert ordinary people like us into their fold, or more specifically.... men" He continued, moving closer to the woman "You see, all it takes is just a few scratches with their fingernails to slowly change a woman like yourself into one of them. But with men? They attempt to seduce them, but if they fail at this, they cruelly force the man onto the ground and sit on their face" Richard continued, trying to make his story sound as authentic as possible despite its rather far-fetched possibility. "When the warepunks bare ass 'swallows' the mans face, it slowly reshapes into that of a werepunk! As the rest of the poor guys body begins to follow..." He claimed, trying to make it sounding as terrifying as possible.

"Yeah right. I suppose they transform under a full moon?" She asked, trying to act like she didn't believe it. However Richard could see her shivering a bit, despite the temperature being a bit muggy.

"Of course they do! They wouldn't be a 'were' creature otherwise" Richard said, as his hand slowly reached to the pendant in her pocket "They come in different shapes and sizes, different clothes and different makeup too. My grandfather spotted one ages ago apparently, she had a jet black mohawk and was wearing skimpy clothing, not leaving much to the imagination eh?" He continued. "Lucky he survived before he got taken over!" He said, carefully taking a hold of the amulet.
